Garrett
Garrett is a young alligator living in Pickle Toe Swamp. Garrett is basically a good gator, though he tends to get into trouble here and there when he gets bored. But sometimes his boredom leads him into adventures that he might not otherwise experience.

Dustee
Hedgehogs don't usually find themselves in as much trouble as Dustee seems to find. The day he meets up with an alligator is one he will never forget... and neither will the alligator.

Riley
Riley is a very young and very green tree frog with orange eyes, toes and fingers. Riley sometimes gets so busy playing that he forgets to go back to his home in the hollow log at the edge of Gooseberry Pond by the time his mother expects him to be indoors for the evening.

Steele - New May 2008
Steele was named after his grandfather, a powerful and courageous lion. But Steele is the youngest and most inexperienced lion in his pride. His friends all tease him, calling him "Nerves of Steele," making fun of the fact that he is afraid to do so many things that other young lions do all the time. Steel will soon learn the meaning of courage, and it is certainly not about who has the guts to jump across the Cubara River Gap.
